My Experience in Writing Projects Process

Studying writing two in this semester, it is like being a great writer for me. We act like a professional writer, I mean because during this semester we got some challenges in making good essay and finished well and collected for writing projects. That’s why I mean by being a great and professional writer. Actually in my writing processes are not easy to do, it needs seriously, high concentration, even take a friend with the times. Besides, we must be able to manage the times well and began to make a good essay.

At the first time, we learned about free writing. On it we had to write and elaborated our experiences and expectations in writing one and also writing two. To be honest, in making an essay it was not easy for me, to finish it I need more times and concentrations. Sometimes when I started to write, I got stuck and do not know what I am going to write. That’s a terrible thing that I want to fix, but still hard to fix it. I thought it must continue and forgot about that thing. So, I tried to finish my writing even though the stuck is suddenly appear in my mind. I still remember when I tried to finish my first project, I spent more than a day. The problem still about the stuck is suddenly appear and sat on my mind. As a result, I just finished it in a page, but I kept and then collected it as my first project in writing two.

The net meeting, we got the other challenges to make a narrative and discussion texts. Of course, we had to write it as an essay and after we finished, it must shared to another friends or groups in our class. The purpose is to get the drafts process and checked the mistakes as much as person in our class. In writing process of these projects make me a little bit confused about the topic that I want to write. Actually, in these processes we need much concentration, imaginations, looked for the references even some expert opinions. So, finished these projects I tried hard to build and refresh my mood, especially for making a good essay.

In the class, our lecturer is always reminded us about the lessons and the deadline of writing projects. Its better if do not forget to bring all of our assignments, drafts, even a small paper which included comments. Then, it is nice to take our files and drafts in a special box and kept it based on the criteria of projects. I think by earning writing two in this semester is a good chance and moment. Even though it seemed busy and not easy, but we can learn more about what the real writing is. According to me, my best essay was my narrative text, with title “The Old Man and The Giant Snake”. It is because I finished my writing with serious and focused. On it, I included some imagination to coherence of my writing. Also I wrote the story without felt stuck then I developed it as a unity paragraph. After I finished it, I copied it for twenty seven. Next, I shared it to another friends for getting the comments. After they returned it, I wrote it as a new revision. Finally, we may published the writing into our own blog. The other thing is collected some comments and then printed it as projects writing.

As conclusion, in processes to make my writing was not easy and need more times also concentrations. On the other hand, we must be able to manage times and take a friend with the times. I know that, to be a good person in writing needs many things that support our goals. Because of that, I say thank you so much to our lecturers which giving us some great and terrific lessons even excellent experiences. Especially for Mrs. Lina, according to me, she is a great lecturer, full of spirit, discipline, and never tired to teach us. Even though she is pregnant, she can teach us well in writing. Now, I know that to be a great person, we must be able to manage times, take responsibility in anything and never stop to reach the best thing.

 THE PIERCING AS AN ART ?

Nowadays, the body piercing becomes popular around the stylist people life. Many people are interesting to use it. Let says the lovers are young people and also adult ages. We need to know that the body piercing is an invasive procedure. It means you are inserting a piece of metal, usually, into the skin. Your body does not want it to be there. It is up to the piercer to put it where it belongs. Now, you can find there are many people have used it. It can be in ears, nose, lips, tongue, cheeks, nipples, eyebrows, belly button or even genital organs. A person can leave no part of his body unexposed.

Although, the body piercing is an art form that has been practiced for centuries now, the central purpose of undergoing it has changed dramatically over the last few years. While people initially opted for getting their body pierced as a sign of spiritually, religion, conformism, eroticism, and sub cultural identification, the modern youth has surpassed these symbols and accepted body piercing as a chic, cool, and appealing fashion accessories. Nonetheless, this body art form has several disadvantages to its credit as opposed to the few advantages.

The dangers of body piercings rise when facilities are unclean, technicians do not use facial masks and tools are not sterilized improperly. Unsterilized equipment can also lead to secondary death from disease. When the piercer uses improper sterilization techniques, which in addition to bacterial infections; have also been linked to the transmission of hepatitis and even HIV. According to expert at Creighton University School of Medicine, Dr. Marvin Bittner, said “The classic risks are that the needles are not sterilized between patients.” So, the cause of infections are when the piercers use the facilities which is unsterelized. 

We know that the dangers of body piercing range from mild to serious, with some complications even ending in death. An example, In 2006 a 17-year-old girl died from complications incurred when she had her breast pierced in a private parlor. According to the investigation, the piercing parlour did conform to industry standards. After investigation, an expert at Memorial University's Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Jim Hutchinson, concluded that death due to a dangerous body piercing infection is a rare occurrence. However, as with anything else, there are no guarantees.

Another huge disadvantage of getting a body piercing is the chance of getting an infection. Most of people are worried about HIV/Aids. Since the virus only live in Oxygen for between 20 and 30 seconds this is not the one you need to worry about. Hepatitis, staph, and other infections are the great concern. If the piercer is a professional and is using sterile equipment, the risk is greatly reduced. The biggest problem comes from customers. They don't listen to the piercer about not touching the piercing, aftercare and healing time.

In conclusion, the body piercings can carry some serious risks for the users. Experts are concerned with their increase in popularity. The once rare reports of serious complications may become more common. According to me, before anything else happens, make sure you understand what body piercing is. Think about what the danger of body piercing gone bad is and what the future effect repercussions of having a body piercing might be. Do not think about the style or new trend, just because you think it looks cool or sexy in a certain place, does not mean that it will save for health and have good advantage.

Experience and hope in writing

 

Q-1 Experience when studied writing 1

Last semester we studied writing 1 with Mr. Saunir and Mr. Hafiz, by them we studied about descriptive paragraph -essay, cause effect paragraph-essay, comparison contrast paragraph-essay, procedure text, and report essay.

To be honest, when I studied writing 1 I felt worried because the lecturers gave us many assignments and should be collected for the next day. I thought I cannot finish early because to make a write I need more time and more concentrations. Actually, I do not know why it is happens, I was thinking to finish it I need to have extra time also concentrations and then I am focusing my mind on it. Sometimes, that is why I do not really like writing; but, I tried hard to make it easy and enjoy to me. Even though, I know that writings are really important in our life. So, I try to keep my moods and keep my mind for studying writing. I am still remember at that time our lecturers says that writing is not easy for the person who denied and do not care about it; but, it is easy for the person who make it as needs and tend to be it as habits. I think that is true; because of that, I would like to study writing more and pass the worried about it.

Q-2 Hope by studying writing 2

Actually I am glad to be here for studying writing 2 and we are going to the next level. This semester we are studying with Mr. Ansyar and Mrs. Lina.  On syllabus, we are going to narrative text, recount text, argumentative essay, hortatory analytical, etc.

So, by learning writing 2 in this semester I hope I can improve my writing skills as good as possible. I want to make it easy and the readers understand what I mean. Also, I want to write better than before; especially, I know the ways to create a good writing and can solve my worried about the mistakes that sometimes I did. On the other hand, by learning writing 2 I hope I can learn seriously; even though, writing is not as simple as I am thinking. I just want to enjoy it whenever I start it; then, in this semester I hope I will have time to study writing and bring my ideas to support my writing become a good writing.

The Old Man and The Giant Snake

Long time ago, in a small village lived a husband and his wife. They were a poor couple without offspring for fourty years their marriage ages. Every day, they did the activity in the forest to find the firewood. It seemed tireless. Before they went to the forest the wife intended to cook something for lunch, but when she arrived at the kitchen near the table, she found there was not anything to cook, no rice left and also no fire woods left. She got angry to her husband and as soon as possible looking for the firewood.

The next day, the husband went to the forest without his wife. He went around for a while then bring the firewood for his wife at home. Like before they did, all the activities are done by both of them. Because of the condition, his wife told it was better if they looked for firewood together. So, next morning they leaved their house and went to the forest.

In the forest, they found many fire woods and also some fruits. While they were collecting the fruits and firewood, the couple suddenly heard a groaning sound from their right side. They are curious, they tried to find were the exactly voice was. At that time, they were so scared and afraid, because they found a giant snake in a large trees are being squeezed. They ran quickly, but the giant snake called them for help. They were really confused, so they asked to the giant snake. “If we can save you, do not you try to eat us?” “No, I will never eat you; I promise if you can save me, I will grant every wish” said the giant snake. Then, the giant snake was free.

For the first, the giant snake thanked to the husband and wife, but suddenly the old women re-bill promises to the giant serpent. “So, what do you need for?” asked the giant snake. “Just give us firewood please?” because it is too difficult to find it now” said the old men. “Your request answered, so you may back home”. When they arrived at home, they were amazed because in front of their house, there were so many fire woods. Now, they believe that the giant snake did not lie to them. The wife planned to make the other request.

The next morning, the old women try to find the giant snake again, she brought a black cat as a friend and fortunately met with the giant snake and requested for a plush house included the facilities. The giant snake shakes his body and the giant snake did not say anything about the answered of her request. When she arrived, she was amazed and also her husband, their house was changed to a luxury and plush house. They were so happy, but the wife was not satisfied enough, so that the wife has the other request that was about money.

Three days later, both of them were going to find the giant snake more. They felt give up because the giant snake did not appear, they had trying to call him, but they could not get the answer. They tired and sat under the tree. Suddenly the heard the voice of giant snake, he looked disappointed and angry, “still not enough for you?” the giant snake asked. The husband scared, but his wife so bravely; she spoke loudly without manners, “yes, actually my husband and I need more money, so will you?” said the old women.

Finally, the giant snake got upset and went away from them. “Never tried to find me anymore!” said the giant snake. Then, the husband and his wife went home early. On the way, the wife got angry to the giant snake. She thought that the giant snake was lied them for his promises. The husband tried to make his wife says sorry to the giant snake, but she did not care about suggest. So, she ran quickly and arrived home; she shocked because there was no fire woods, no luxury house also no facilities left. It just left the worse house than before they had. At that time, they heard a voice so loudly “it is all because of your greedy! Especially you the old women!” said the strange voice. After that, they lived poor ever after.

This story based on my imagination, I got inspired by story telling my teacher when I was elementary school. If I am not mistaken, the story was about a young and the magic stone.

The setting was in a village near the river. There was a family which has two children. They are a fisherman and sometimes looked for another job like cutting the woods near the river. On day, a young of this family followed his father went to the river to get some fishes for dinner. In the river, they just got some small fishes and after that they went home early. On the way home, the young saw a strange stone and brought it home. The young did not tell about it, he just curious and saved it. Next morning, they heard a strange voice from the young room. One of them tried to find the voice was, but when he arrived at room it was a stone under the pillow. When he opened it, there was an oval stone that asked for help. The young were afraid and went out. Suddenly, the stone asked to throw her into a river. Then, the boy saw women near the river, because of his help the women gave a present for him. The young man refused it, but the women requested for the young man to receive it. The women thought that she was a fairy and because of her mistake, she got a punishment.  The women thanked and then she permitted to back home.
